Web app to get connected with millions of students around the world and share knowledge.
This is mainly meant for student community. Well according to me everybody is a student.

StudNet Members: Students will have personal space that will help them to socialize with other students. Features like personal blog, articles and absolutely anything that the member would like to share publicly or privately to some.

StudNet Groups: Students will make groups based on College, interests, place, and many other ways. This will mainly help students to exchange ideas and organize events.

StudNet KnolBase: This will be like a technical wikipedia. It will be by the students, of the students and for the students. Every wiki posts will be reviewed by fellow students and ranked. They will be finally uploaded based on their relative ranking.

StudNet CodeBase: This will be repository of the code written by the students who would like to share them with fellow students. The codes uploaded will be made open source.

StudNet Labs: This is the most interesting part of StudNet. This will be the space where students will get together and create something as small as “Hello World” program or as big as creating the next ‘Google’ search engine. This space will not be only restricted to coders or hackers, any student can get together with students of similar interest. For example any artist can brainstorm with other artists and come up with the next Mona Lisa. This will be the next Home of Innovation.

StudNet DevCrib: This will be like a forum where students can post their technical queries for the student world to discuss. It will be something like a Discussion Forum.

StudNet University: This will be like an online teaching center where the students and educators will together provide materials for others to read and modify according to their specific needs.

I am planning to implement all these features one by one. FIrstly I will develop the 'Member' feature with personal blog. Lets hope I am able to do it.
Currently I have made the design document of the Blog. I have to implement it on a local server and test.
